Sam Davis is a banker from Perth with a big dream to open up his own restaurant and what better way to achieve his goal than to apply for MasterChef Australia.

"Growing up on a farm was great for me. My grandad was a butcher, so we slaughtered the animals on the farm, so it would go all the way from walking around one day to beautiful produce on the plate, beautifully served by mum and me. The dream would be to live on a beautiful farm, grow beautiful food and serve it at a little cottage restaurant on the property."

During his time in the MasterChef kitchen, he created a variety of delicious dishes that wowed the judges.

His most memorable dishes was Roast Duck with Wild Berry Gin Sorbet and Seafood for Two.
