Lydia Guerrini is a mother with a strong passion for food and she decided now is the time for her to chase that passion and apply for MasterChef Australia.

"Being a mum, I'm under pressure a lot, but not this kind of pressure. My dream path in terms of food is a really gorgeous café, somewhere you can go for great coffee and something small to eat."

During her time in the MasterChef kitchen, she created a variety of delicious dishes that wowed the judges.

Her most memorable dish was her Scallops, Hummus, Walnut, Green Olive and Pomegranate Salad which was both delicious and healthy.
