Beau Cook is a construction worker by day and amateur chef by night. He finally decided it was time to take a leap of faith and apply for MasterChef Australia.

"My job is pretty rough, we’re in the mud most of the time! It's good, like we get to play with big machinery and that, but quite often I'll zone out while I'm at work and think about what I'm going to cook when I get home."

During his time in the MasterChef kitchen, he created a variety of delicious dishes that amazed the judges.

His most memorable dishes were his Chicken Ballotine and his Porterhouse with Kipfler Potatoes and Red Wine Jus.
