Jamie Ward has decided that it’s time to unleash his creativity in the kitchen, leaving his day job behind to pursue a new career in food. 

Born in England to an English dad and Sri Lankan mum, Jamie’s family spent time in Canada before moving to Australia when he was four years old. The family settled in Hobart where Jamie, his elder brother and younger sister grew up.

As a youngster, Jamie loved learning from mum Tamara, whom he calls a “brilliant cook”, hanging around the kitchen and getting his hands dirty helping out.
