Glaswegian Fiona Grindlay is putting her career in marketing on the backburner to commit to her one true love: food.

Fiercely proud of her Scottish heritage, Fiona wants to use her MasterChef Australia experience to grow as a cook while showcasing her culture.

Relocating to Australia seven years ago (and becoming an Australian citizen in August 2014), Fiona settled in Melbourne before moving to Brisbane. She says one of her biggest challenges was leaving behind her beloved mum, dad, brother and 91-year-old gran Evelyn, who was a big influence on her cooking.
