  • Sift dry ingredients together. Rub oil into flour with fingertips. Add water and kneed into ball of dough. Cover dough to rest for 10 minutes.
  • Make 5 equal balls with dough and roll out each ball into a dinner plate size.Spread butter on it.
  • Put the point of a knife in the middle then cut downwards towards yourself. Take points and roll with your hands into a long string. From both ends of the string, roll together into a bun.
  • Tighten your bun by pressing the air out and place in the freezer for 30 minutes.
  • Roll out again on sprinkled flour to the size of a side plate.
  • Brush a high heated pan with oil. Place your roti in and brush again with oil. Repeat 3 times until golden brown.
