Queensland mother of two Steph Arneill took to the app to share the parking debacle at her local shopping centre.
In the TikTok, Steph shows her car parked, with another car parked over the line slightly edging into her car spot.
Arneill has a pram in tow, and as she has reversed into the carpark, her immediate concern is whether her not her car boot will even open.
In the video, she says: “I don’t know how I’m going to get my pram in,” she says in the viral video.
“Somehow maneuver it?”
She goes on to talk of how ‘inconsiderate’ the other driver is, before disclosing that she had left a note for the car.
“Not being dramatic, but what if I couldn’t have opened my car boot?” she said.
The TikTok was quickly flooded with people calling the mum of two dramatic, and defending the other driver for their park.
“I mean you could just move your car,” one user wrote.
“If you need to use your boot, don’t reverse in!” another commented.
A third said, “Yes it is over the line but most parking bays are way too small which makes parking for utes harder.”
“I don’t feel like it’s that big of a deal annoying yeah but not the end of the world.”
One empathetic mother defended Arneill, commenting: “Everyone saying ‘just move the car forward’ are the same people who would park like the red car.”
“Until you’re a mom you wouldn’t understand the inconvenience and internal rage this causes,” another said.
