Since the inception of her annual Halloween party in 2000, Klum has reigned supreme as the queen of elaborate costumes.
Each year, attendees and fans alike eagerly await the 51-year-old’s grand entrance on the red carpet to see just how far she’ll push her creative boundaries.
From sexy cartoon siren Jessica Rabbit, to a literal giant rain worm, Klum doesn’t shy away from elaborate prosthetics and makeup to perfect her look.
For 2024, she arrived at her spooky bash dressed as a female version of E.T. alongside Tom Kaulitz, who was the familiar male version from Steven Spielberg’s beloved cult classic 1982 film.

But, in a faux pas, this year Janelle Monáe beat Klum to the punch, revealing her E.T. costume online yesterday, before also sporting the look for her appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show, where she said the outfit had been two years in the making.

Speaking with USA today, Klum said she has much more “fun” when vanity is out of the picture.
“People want to be cool … But I feel like the cool factor then goes and everyone has more fun when you’re dressed up. It’s a great shield to have,” she said.
