Bodies Of Melbourne Teens Back Home From Laos

The families of Holly Bowles and Bianca Jones are back on Aussie soil after a long journey home with the bodies of their girls.

Their fight for answers is now progressing after police in Laos arrested the manager and seven staff at the Nana Backpacker hostel.

Initial investigations suggested methanol-laced ‘whiskey’ and ‘vodka’ resulted in the deaths.

Now, reports have emerged of a third Australian victim involved in the poisoning event, currently in a stable condition in hospital.

English tourist, Lucy Davidson, provided an insight into just what the victims went through, in a social media post.

“I was violently throwing up, I was really lucid, I had visual impairment, I could barely see it was like bright lights,” she said.

The 23-year-old took to social media to warn of the dangers, after 24 hours in intensive care and four more days in hospital, while others commented with similar stories.

Holly and Bianca’s families are now determined to put an end to the deaths and near misses.
