106-Year-Old UK Woman Reveals The Key To A Long Life Is ‘Chocolate And Partying’

While celebrating her 106th birthday, Edith Hill said the secret to her longevity was “being independent, eating lots of chocolate, and partying.”

In an interview with The Mirror, the centenarian revealed that chocolates and partying keep her feeling youthful, with a particular taste for a classic Cadbury Dairy Milk bar.

Edith resides at Aspen Lodge Care Home in Skegness, Lincs, and the staff adore her

Head housekeeper Anita Tindle said, “She is a really lovely lady with a great character and still does everything for herself.

"She is one-in-a-million, really. She can chat for England. She's truly amazing for her age."

They also started a special birthday campaign for Edith, calling out for people to send the 106-year-old birthday cards, with the goal of receiving 106.

"She's already received 40 cards, but we are determined to hit 106 for each of her incredible years. It makes my heart melt that people have taken part,” Tindle said.

"It goes to show that there is some community spirit out there and people are willing to help.”
