Relive all the action from the CommBank Matildas' October matches on 10 Play

Tom Sermanni's latest spell in charge of the Matildas got underway on Saturday morning in Zurich as they went head to head with Switzerland for the first time.

After an underwhelming performance at the Olympic Games earlier in the year, this was the first chance for the Matildas to regroup and move forward with a familiar face in the dugout.

The Matildas then crossed the border to take on Germany in Duisburg on Tuesday morning (AEDT).

They were soundly beaten by the Germans at the Olympics which may have been their source of inspiration as Kyra Cooney Cross' first goal in Matildas colours stole the show on what was legendary striker Alexandra Popp's farewell match.

Matildas gear up for massive week in Queensland and Victoria

The CommBank Matildas will be back on Australian shores in November for the first time since their farewell matches against China prior to the Olympic Games.

Over the course of just over a week they are set to face off in a two match series against Brazil in Brisbane and the Gold Coast on Thursday, 28 November and Sunday, 1 December before jetting down to Victoria to meet Chinese Taipei.

They will meet Chinese Taipei on Wednesday, 4 December at AAMI Park before heading west to Geelong's GMHBA Stadium for the second match of the series on Saturday, 7 December.

All four of the CommBank Matildas matches against Brazil and Chinese Taipei will be live on 10 and 10 Play.
