‘The Addams Family’ Cast Reunite At LA Comic Con

The kooky clan of misfits from ‘The Addams Family’ have reunited for the first time in over thirty years at LA Comic Con.

On Saturday, Anjelica Huston (Morticia Addams), Christopher Lloyd (Uncle Fester), Christina Ricci (Wednesday Addams), Jimmy Workman (Pugsley Addams) and Carel Struycken (Lurch) hosted an ‘Addams Family’ panel at the event.

The event page noted that this was "the first time" the group has appeared together "at any fan convention for Autographs, Photo Ops and a Panel."

According to LA Comic Con, the cast came together "to share memories from the set, discuss their iconic roles, and reveal what it was like to be part of this beloved spooky family."

The panel began with the cast fondly remembering the late Raul Julia, who played Gomez Addams, and died in 1994 after a stroke at the age of 54 years old.

"He was the perfect gentleman," Huston shared. "He was always first on set, last to leave. He was incredibly amenable. He'd do anything you asked him to. He's a great dancer ... He was a consummate professional, really great, really fun. He would always sing, between scenes, between takes, he would always sing opera. He would keep us entertained."

Christopher Lloyd, who played Uncle Fester in the 1991 classic, posted a photo of the group posing together on Saturday, captioning the shot: "The family that haunts together, stays together.”

The Addams Family has been adapted for film and TV many times over the years, most recently in the series ‘Wednesday’, starring Jenna Ortega.
