The video garnered nearly 800,000 views, with thousands commenting on the hilarious moment.
Some even gave the worker tips on how to better mask loud noise.
“This is why you need a proper headset with noise suppression microphone!” one person wrote, while another pointed out that Zoom has excellent noise cancellation.
Other commenters shared their near misses on silent vacation.
“I once defended a deposition from the hotel pool in Cabo,” one shared.
“Almost got fired when I attended a meeting from a beach club bar in Malaga, Spain,” another said.
“This was me last week! Luckily, I survived,” another said.
“I had a call once inside the Colosseum in Rome. Didn’t want to cancel the day trip for the call,” another claimed.
“This is the future of work,” another claimed.
Montana told news.com.au that the meeting went off without a hitch or any employers twigging that she was on holiday in Bali, adding that her friend “crushed” the presentation.
“I believe we produce even higher quality work because we are happiest and most inspired when travelling,” she said.
“So surprised, mainly by the amount of people who have had the same experience in Bali and all around the world,” she said.
