Expats Stoked To Discover $2 Aussie Breakfast At IKEA

Canadians living in Queensland were amazed to find the $2 breakfast at their local IKEA store in Slacks Creek.

Josiah Hein and his wife Jess visited IKEA and treated themselves to a $2 small breakfast and a $5 large breakfast. They were shocked to find that they could get a whole plate of food for such a low price.

The small meal included scrambled eggs, beans, and snags, and the large meal added bacon, hash browns, tomato, and mushrooms. The pair was stoked with their options.

Sadly, these low prices are only available at the Logan and Northlakes locations in Queensland.

The rest of the country generally pays $4 for a small and $10 for a large breakfast until 11 a.m. every day.

It's not a gold coin deal, but in this cost-of-living crisis, a $4 breakfast can be hard to come by!

An IKEA spokesperson told FEMAIL that the company's low-cost meals are part of its commitment to maintaining affordability beyond furniture and decor.

It looks like we might all be heading to our nearest IKEA tomorrow morning for brekkie.
