Danielle Collins Trolls Aussie Tennis Fans With ‘Five Star Vacation’ In The Bahamas

American tennis star Danielle Collins has made good on her pledge to spend her “big fat pay cheque” from the Aus Open on a “five star vacation”, posting a video of her luxe holiday to social media.

Collins became the villain of the Australian Open after taking out the win over local hope, Destanee Aiava. Aussie fans passionately backed Aiava, but Collins managed to come through with a 7-6, 4-6, 6-2 win.

Through the match, Collins cupped her hand to her ear, sarcastically blew kisses, told fans to “shut up”, and topped it off with a slap to her behind.

She thanked Aussie fans for providing her "big fat pay cheque" which she pledged could be put towards a lavish holiday in the Bahamas.

"Every person that’s bought a ticket to come out here and heckle me or do what they do, it’s all going towards the Danielle Collins Fund. Yeah, bring it on. I love it. Me and my group of girlfriends love a five-star vacation," Collins told reporters after the match against Aiava.

"We like boats. Big boats. We like yachts. Yeah, we'll post about it and let you guys know how it goes."

On Sunday, the 31-year-old made good on her pledge, posting a video montage of her vacation at a luxe resort in The Bahamas.

She captioned the tongue-in-cheek post, “This five star vacay brought to you by @coralsands_harbourisland."

In the video, Collins is seen enjoying time with her friends, sunbaking, exploring the lavish resort, and appropriately ends with her giving one last final butt slap just for her haters.

Collins earnt a reported A$290,000 at the 2025 Australian Open.
