DIY Kid's Cowboy Party
It's not the wild west if no one is panning for gold. To make this play area, Barry assembled a box and lined it with builder's plastic. He then filled it with Yellow Brickies Sand so the water could be muddy, making it a little harder to find gold. To make gold nuggets, Barry simply spray painted white pebbles gold, then the DIY was complete!
To make this western-themed wagon, Barry cut and screwed plywood together, then clamped electrical conduits to the box to form arches. For the wheels, Barry simply used a hula hoop and blue tape, then spray painted the entire piece gold.
For the sign, Kyal cut-out an arch from plywood. He then traced cowboy silhouettes onto the plywood, used a jigsaw to cut them out, then he screwed them onto the sign. After a bit of paint, some hay stacks and a few cacti, this garden feels like the wild-wild west!
