Max (Brains)

Primary School Teacher

Max may be leaving his comfortable Gold Coast cozy bed to face his biggest fear of having a crab crawl over his face while sleeping but he couldn’t be more excited about it.

Cheeky, loud and always up for fun, Max is a Primary School teacher who has been watching Survivor since he was a kid so being in Samoa is a dream come true for him.

He says, “I know this game, I’ve been watching with my Dad since I was a kid. People might think I’m always joking around but I’m calculated and I will be out here. I put this fun energy out for a reason and to bring up tribe morale but the truth is I’m five steps ahead of everyone.

“Being a brain means we aren't relying on our muscles, we're relying on our heads. We are using this to outwit, to outplay, to outmaster our opponents. It happens all the time in the real world and it's gonna happen out here on this island. I think it's a tale as old as time - out in the playground, the brawny kids walking around picking on those with the brains. And then you grow up, you realise what's inside our head is gonna get you a lot further than any muscles on your arms.”
