Lions FC vs Western Sydney Wanderers

The Match of the Day took us to Luxury Paints Stadium in Queensland with The Lions welcoming Western Sydney Wanderers.

It was the Wanderers' second visit to the Sunshine state after they saw off Brisbane City in the Round of 32.

A dominant display from Alen Stajcic's side saw them run away with the win as they booked their ticket to Adelaide for the Quarter Finals.

Hume City FC vs FC Melbourne Srbija

Two NPL clubs went head to head at Hume City Stadium in the second of the three fixtures.

One goal separated the two sides on this occasion with Aamir Abdallah's second half goal proving the difference as Hume put an end to Melbourne Srbija's fairytale Cup run.

Olympic Kingsway SC vs Adelaide United

The Tuesday night action wrapped up in the west as Olympic Kingsway met Adelaide United.

Adelaide survived a late scare from the hosts as they ran out 3-2 winners thanks to goals from Austin Ayoub, Callum O'Connell and Luka Jovanovic.

Special mention goes to Kingsway's Liam Boland who overtook Besart Berisha to become the outright top goal scorer in Australia Cup history.
