The trailer is the first look at the fairy tale remake and gives fans a glimpse at Zegler's Snow White meeting the CGI seven dwarves and clashing with the Evil Queen, played by Gal Gadot.
The clip also shows Snow White meeting with Jonathon, the male lead taking the place of the Prince, and debuts a brand new song, 'Waiting on a Wish'.
The trailer has divided fans, with some Disney die-hards on board with the changes but others unimpressed with the fresh take on the Seven Dwarves.
"Wow. Disney. You truly are incredible. It took you 3 years, multiple rewrites, unnecessary CGI, and 209 million dollars just for me to enjoy a comment section of a movie I will never watch," wrote one scathing commenter, while another said, "If I saw this movie on a plane, I would still walk out."
"Nobody has ever rooted for a poison apple until this movie! GO APPLE GO!!!" said another disapproving commenter.
The live-action remake has been plagued with criticism, with Trump supporters lashing out at Zegler after she condemned the President-elect on social media and Game of Thrones star Peter Dinklage slamming the remake as "f**king backwards".
"I was a little taken aback by [the fact] they were very proud to cast a Latina actress as Snow White, but you're still telling the story of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs," Dinklage said in a 2022 interview.
"You're progressive in one way, but you're still making that f**king backward story of seven dwarves living in the cave."
