Pedro Pascal Blasts J.K. Rowling’s Anti-Trans Stance, Calling it “Heinous LOSER Behavior”

Pedro Pascal has slammed J.K. Rowling’s celebratory response to the UK ruling that transgender women shouldn’t be recognised as women, labelling it “Heinous LOSER Behavior.”

Following the Supreme Court’s ruling, Rowling posted a photo of herself smoking a cigar on a yacht, alongside the caption: “I love it when a plan comes together.”

The 59-year-old author has been increasingly vocal about her anti-trans beliefs in recent years.

Activist Tariq Ra'ouf made an Instagram video in response to Rowling’s post, calling on his followers to make sure that everything "Harry Potter related fails".

“Don’t watch the show. Don’t go to Universal. Don’t buy a single Harry Potter thing ever. It’s time to tell these corporations that transphobia loses money,” he wrote.

Pascal has been a long-time supporter for trans rights, with his own sister, Lux Pascal, coming out as transgender in 2021.

The Last of Us actor took to the comment section to echo Ra'ouf’s sentiment.

“Awful disgusting S**T is exactly right,” Pascal wrote in response to Ra’ouf’s video.

“Heinous LOSER behavior.”

Pascal isn’t the only celebrity to speak out against Rowling’s anti-trans stance, with Harry Potter castmates Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson all having previously criticized the author’s public transphobia.
