Tom Holland’s ID Rejected While Trying To Buy His Own Non-Alcoholic Beer Brand

Tom Holland recently had his UK ID rejected whilst attempting to purchase his own non-alcoholic beer brand, Bero.

The actor was at Target when he decided to chronicle his experience buying his own beverage brand to his Instagram story.

“So I haven’t been in the States for a while,” Holland explained. “And I’m gonna go visit some Bero on the shelves, out in the wild.”

During his video, the 28-year-old revealed that this was actually the third Target that he’d visited in search of Bero.

Holland let out a cheer as he found Bero stocked on the shelves, but it seems the third time wasn’t exactly a charm.

“Okay, so success! I found some! ” He said, holding the pack of cans on his shoulder.

However, it wasn’t all smooth sailing for the Spiderman actor.

“I bought it — They wouldn’t accept my ID because it’s English and I couldn’t prove my age, so a really lovely employee, I guess, scanned their ID,” he explained.

“Kind of ironic that I wasn’t allowed to buy my own product. But yeah! Feeling good. This is exciting.”

During a July 2023 interview on the On Purpose with Jay Shetty podcast, Holland revealed that he has been sober for three years, after participating in Dry January in 2022.

Once he learned he could maintain his sobriety, he recalled feeling the “happiest I’ve ever been in my life”

“I could sleep better. I could handle problems better,” Holland said at the time. “Things that would go wrong on set that would normally set me off, I could take in my stride. I had such better mental clarity.”
