Speaking with Stellar, Irwin expressed immense pride in her children.
"Bindi is such a better mother than I ever was. I say that with deep admiration," the 60-year-old shared.
Bindi Irwin, 26, is the CEO of Australia Zoo and works alongside her husband, Chandler Powell, 28. The couple shares a 4-year-old daughter, Grace.
Meanwhile, Robert, 21, has been making waves in the media world, earning a Gold Logie nomination in 2024 for co-hosting I'm A Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here!
He has also been announced as the first celebrity contestant on the upcoming US season of Dancing With The Stars. And, of course, who could forget his saucy appearance in a recent Bonds underwear campaign, which had Aussie hearts racing.
As any proud mum would, Terri admits she has mixed feelings about her son's growing status as a heartthrob.
"Steve used to say to me, 'It wasn't until I started filming and became the Crocodile Hunter that girls started looking at me twice,'" Irwin recalled.
"He was 30, by the way, when we got married. He'd joke, 'Where were they?' So, on one hand, it's great that Robert is getting that flattering attention, but on the other hand, it's a lot.
"And Steve always said to me, 'I'm glad we met before I was the Crocodile Hunter, because I know for sure that you just love me.'"
