Pete Evans has announced he is releasing a kids’ cookbook with the help of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

The controversial Aussie chef announced on Telegram the book will be published by Children’s Health Defense Books, a publishing company that is part of the the Kennedy-led Children’s Health Defense.

“So please(d) and thankful that Robert Kennedy Jr set this up for me with his Children’s Health Defense team,” he posted.

“Stay tuned for more.”

RFK Jr has recently been announced as President-elect Donald Trump’s pick to head the Department of Health and Human Services,

"He's going to help make America healthy again," Trump said in his victory speech on November 6.

"He wants to do some things, and we're going to let him get to it," he said.

Kennedy, the son and nephew of two titans of Democratic politics, has been a part of Trump's transition team and has been reviewing candidate resumes for the top jobs at US health agencies.

On X and interviews in recent weeks, Kennedy has indicated his priorities include addressing what he calls the "chronic disease epidemic" of conditions including obesity, diabetes and autism, and reducing chemicals in food.
