Variety confirmed the casting, but the details of Lady Gaga’s cameo are still unknown.
Variety said that producers had attempted to get Lady Gaga on board for a larger role in the hit show but were unable to make it work.
Jenna Ortega, who plays the title role of Wednesday, previously told Variety that she is “sure Netflix would love” for Lady Gaga to make an appearance in the show.
It was to a remixed version of Lady Gaga’s song ‘Bloody Mary’ that a dance scene from the fourth episode went viral.
In recent years, Lady Gaga has put her acting chops to work, earning herself an Academy Award nomination for best actress for her role in ‘A Star Is Born’ opposite Bradley Cooper.
Most recently, Lady Gaga starred opposite Joaquin Phoenix in ‘Joker: Folie á Deux’.
