Some stores have even posted signs threatening expulsion from the store if customers are found flipping the dolls’ hair back.

One sign read, “DO NOT FLIP WEDNESDAY’S HAIR BACK. YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE.”

Ortega commented on one of these videos, writing, “Please don’t.”

However, fans have found the trend hilarious.

“WHY ARE THEY SO MAD ITS SO FUNNY,” one person wrote.

“It’s never that serious,” another person said.

Someone else wrote, “Now that’s too far, getting kicked out for making her bald????”

“But why do they even care that much,” another wrote.

‘Wednesday’ premiered on Netflix in November 2022, and will return for Season 2 in 2025.

In an interview with Vanity Fair, Ortega hinted that ‘Wednesday’ Season 2 will feature more “horror.”

“Not to say that suddenly we’re the goriest show of all time,” she said.

“I mean, there’s six-year-olds watching. We’re doing this thing now where Wednesday just kind of appears. She is a little bit of a jump scare herself.”
