"He clarified his comments," Harris said. "But let me be clear: I strongly disagree with any criticism of people based on who they vote for."
Speaking with reporters before boarding a flight for a campaign event in North Carolina, Harris said: "You heard my speech last night and continuously throughout my career,”
"I believe that the work that I do is about representing all the people, whether they support me or not.
"And as president of the United States, I will be a president for all Americans whether you vote for me or not."
Closing out her speech at the Ellipse in Washington, Harris said, "Unlike Donald Trump, I don’t believe people who disagree with me are the enemy.”
"He wants to put them in jail. I’ll give them a seat at the table."
Biden claims he didn’t mean ALL Trump supporters, but Trump is making the most of the blunder, donning Hi-Viz and boarding a new campaign vehicle in Green Bay, Wisconsin, to make a point.
"How do you like my garbage truck? This truck is in honour of Kamala and Joe Biden."
He doubled down at his latest campaign rally.
"250 million people are not garbage,” Trump said to cheers from the crowd.
From the truck passenger's seat, he told reporters that he believed he could claim victory on election night.
