On Friday night, strong winds shifted the direction of the Palisades fire, the largest of the six fires, prompting new evacuation warnings for the Brentwood neighbourhood and parts of the San Fernando Valley.
The Palisades blaze has already burned more than 21,000 acres and is 11 per cent contained.
A curfew is now being enforced between 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM for areas impacted by the Palisades and Eaton wildfires.
The LA County Sheriff's office has confirmed there have already been 22 arrests for curfew violations, trespassing, burglary and looting.
California Governor Gavin Newsom has increased the number of National Guard members drafted into the state to assist with the fire response, with 1,680 service members now on the ground.
Newsom has called for an investigation into why a 440 million-litre reservoir was out of service, and some water hydrants had run dry.
Los Angeles Fire Chief Kristin Crowley has also criticised the lack of water and funding for firefighting.
"When a firefighter comes up to a hydrant, we expect there's going to be water," she said.
The fires have killed at least 11 people, including one Australian man, with officials expecting the number to rise.
According to Cal Fire, more than 12,000 structures and 37,000 acres have been burned.
