Early Forecast Predicts Sunny Christmas Day For Much Of Australia

Early forecasts for Christmas Day look merry and bright for much of the country, with Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Brisbane set for a sunny December 25.

Although the Bureau of Meteorology’s official forecast will not be released until 4.30 on Wednesday, early predictions for a sunny Christmas Day across the country are promising. 

Accuweather predicts Sydney will enjoy a sunny day with a maximum temperature of 26 and a minimum of 18 degrees, while Melbourne will reach a high of 28.

Brisbane will enjoy 30 degrees with less humidity and bright periods, while Adelaide will be treated to a full day of sunshine and a top of 34 degrees. 

Perth will have a high of 25 degrees with bright periods and some showers in the afternoon, while Darwin is looking at a high of 35 degrees but will have more clouds than sun and a couple of thunderstorms in the afternoon.

Hobart will be on the cloudier side, with a high of 22 degrees.
