Cyndi Lauper Stops By Melbourne HoMie Store During Aussie Tour

Legendary singer Cyndi Lauper delighted Melbourne fans when she stopped by Melbourne streetwear brand and social enterprise HoMie.

Taking to her social media, the 71-year-old pop icon shared her excitement about visiting HoMie, whose profits go words supporting young people affected by homelessness or hardship.

“So excited to visit the HoMie shop! In case you don’t already know, HoMie is a Melbourne-based streetwear label and social enterprise.100% of HoMie’s profits go towards achieving its mission: to support young people affected by homelessness or hardship,” she wrote.

The Girls Just Wanna Have Fun singer shared information about HoMie’s programs that support young people aged 18 to 25, including their HoMie Pathway Alliance, which is a retail education and employment program, and their VIP Days, where young people can shop for free, receive haircuts, beauty services and personal care packs.

“Very cool! Please go by and support when you’re in town,” she wrote.
