Bali Named The World’s Most Romantic Destination

Bali has been crowned the World’s Most Romantic Destination, beating out honeymoon hotspots like The Maldives and The Bahamas.

The Indonesian island, beloved by Aussies for its idyllic beaches, breathtaking scenery and vibrant culture, was dubbed the most romantic destination by the World Travel Awards.

Bali beat out other dreamy destinations like Saint Lucia, Seychelles, Mauritius, Oman and the Turks & Caicos Islands.

Bali has swept the 2024 travel awards, recognised as the number one Honeymoon destination by the Tripadvisor Travellers' Choice Awards and the best island in Asia by Condé Nast Traveller Readers’ Choice Awards.

Indonesia’s national tourism board celebrated the island’s 2024 award wins, posting on the Wonderful Indonesia Instagram page.

“These awards truly motivate us to keep sharing Indonesia’s beauty with the world and make Bali and all our destinations shine even brighter,” they wrote.
