Making his stand-up comedy debut in 2001, Stephen K Amos has toured the world, bringing his comedy to audiences across the globe.
The BAFTA nominated and RTS award-winning comedian, broadcaster, actor and presenter’s signature charisma, charm and rapid-fire wit has made him a household name in the UK and Australia.
A regular face at comedy clubs, Stephen is a prolific writer, his debut DVD Find the Funny was recorded at Sydney’s own Enmore Theatre and was released in November 2009.
On top of his stand-up, Stephen is an accomplished actor of stage and screen, impressing critics with West End box office hits My Fair Lady and One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest.
Stephen has been known to flex his acting chops in both comedic and dramatic roles, appearing in shows including Battyman, Pilgrimage: The Road To Rome, and Prejudice and Pride as well as being a favourite feature on panel shows like QI, Mock the Week, Have I Got News For You, The Wright Stuff, and a favourite guest of Network 10’s The Project.
In 2012, Stephen published his memoir, I Used to Say My Mother Was Shirley Bassey, full of hilarious and heartwarming stories of his chaotic upbringing as one of seven children, tracking “a life fitting in, standing out, and (almost) always laughing”.
