Yes, Kim, 44, will not only produce but also star in Amazon MGM Studios’ upcoming live-action Bratz movie. The plot remains a tightly guarded secret, but one thing’s clear: Kim’s bringing serious pout and power to the franchise.
Kim has a long-standing love for fashion, so this partnership with the famously style-obsessed dolls makes perfect sense. Think less “courtroom chic,” more “platform heels and dramatic monologues.”
This won’t be Kim’s first rodeo in front of the camera, far from it. She played a chilling role in American Horror Story last year, and she's teaming up again with Ryan Murphy for the Hulu legal drama All’s Fair, which she’s also producing. Meanwhile, she’s set to star in and produce The 5th Wheel for Netflix. Apparently, if you want Kim on screen, she wants a seat behind it too.
Despite her growing acting portfolio, Kim is keeping her roles within reason. On a recent episode of The Kardashians, she made it clear she won’t be doing anything too method: “I’m not going to be gaining 500 pounds for a role and losing a million,” she told her friends, with peak Kardashian candor.
She also admitted Botox might limit her dramatic range. “How am I going to cry?” she asked. “How am I going to be scared out of my mind? I cannot move.”
As for the Bratz connection, it runs in the family. Kylie Jenner launched her own Bratz doll collection in 2023, complete with mini versions of her favorite looks. “I have been a fan of Bratz since childhood,” Kylie said at the time, fulfilling the lifelong dream of turning herself into a pocket-sized fashion icon.
