In an interview with BBC Radio 1’s Jack Saunders, Chappell Roan said the one word that makes her stand out is ‘Fearlessness’.
The Giver singer explained that she is not afraid to do her own thing when it comes to her art or even outside of her music.
"I think that's so needed," she says. "To be able to break the rules."
The 27-year-old singer added that she thinks that she, Sabrina Carpenter and Charli xcx are the ‘Powerpuff Girls’ of pop.
The trio are headlining the Primavera festival in Spain.
"I don't think that any of us were thinking of: 'What's going to change music? What's going to really blow peoples' minds?'"
"I think all of us made our albums based on what blows our own minds.
"That's why I think it works so well for all of us because we're doing our own thing.
"Let there be a new path for girls who want to break the rules."
