Alvin Quah has an animated, witty and approachable demeanor. Born in Kuala Lumpur with Chinese Malaysian Heritage, Alvin has been passionate about his culture’s food from a young age. His ultimate food dream to make Malaysian cuisine as renowned as is Chinese or Thai.

During his time on MasterChef, he created a variety of dishes which the judges loved, such as his Drunken Chicken with Bruised Salad and his Greed Caramelised Pork Belly with Chilli Vinegar and Saffron Rice.
