The FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup 2024™ is taking place in the Dominican Republic from 16 October to 3 November. This is the first time that the Dominican Republic has hosted a FIFA tournament.
FIFA U17 Women's World Cup Hub on 10 Play
It is being played in two Dominican cities: in the capital Santo Domingo, at the Felix Sanchez Stadium, and in Santiago de los Caballeros, at the CFC Stadium.

Qualified nations: Brazil, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, England, Japan, Kenya, Korea DPR, Korea Republic, Mexico, New Zealand, Nigeria, Poland, Spain, USA, Zambia.
Dominican Republic 2024 format
The 16 participating teams will be divided into four groups of four. The top two teams in each group qualify for the quarter finals. This will be followed by semi-finals, a match for third place and the final.

- Group B: Spain, USA, Korea Republic, Colombia
- Group C: Korea DPR, Mexico, Kenya, England

What is Coming Up?
The semi-finals pairings are now set, with USA and Korea DPR squaring off on Wednesday in Santiago de los Caballeros.
These two nations met in the semi-finals of the U-20 Women's World Cup last month in Colombia and now will face off again at U-17 level. It will also be a rematch of the first U-17 Women's World Cup final in 2008 when Korea DPR defeated USA 2-1.
Another rematch is on the docket in the Thursday semi-final in Santo Domingo between European rivals Spain and England. They met last May in the final of the UEFA Women's U-17 Championship where La Rojita emerged victorious, 4-0.
