Brisbane back in action at Suncorp

Brisbane are back after their second round bye as they welcome Sydney FC to Suncorp Stadium on Friday with kick off set for 7:35pm AEDT live and exclusive on Paramount+.

Roar will be keen to rectify their 2-0 defeat against Auckland a fortnight ago as they come up against an out of form Sky Blues side who suffered back-to-back defeats across all competitions.

After coming away with all three points against Wanderers, Ufuk Talay's men went down to Sanfrecce Hiroshima in the ACL Two before an injury time winner saw them succumb to defeat in Auckland.

Kiwi Derby in Wellington

First plays second at Sky Stadium as rivals Wellington Phoenix host Auckland FC in the early kick off on Saturday, live and exclusive on Paramount+.

The A-League's newest derby is coming your way this weekend with the inaugural 'Kiwi Clasico'.

Auckland sit top of the table with a perfect record from their opening matches while their rivals are hot on their heels after picking up a draw and a win from their clashes.

There will be some added spice with former Phoenix shot stopper back in Wellington wearing Auckland colours following his recent contentious move.

Mariners welcome Perth to Gosford

Central Coast are back in Gosford for their meeting with Perth Glory which is set underway at 5:05pm AEDT live and free on 10 Bold and 10 Play.

Both sides will be going in search of their first respective victories of the season with Mariners coming from behind to share the points in Adelaide last time out while Glory fell 2-0 to Phoenix after their first round smashing against Macarthur.

Three straight defeats to start the season for Perth will be added concern to a club which has been in the state of rebuilding for some time now.

Wanderers face off against Adelaide

The prime time match takes us to CommBank Stadium as Wanderers host Adelaide at 7:35pm AEDT live and free on 10 Bold and 10 Play.

Alen Stajcic is yet to pick up a win in charge of Wanderers with his new side having picked up the solitary point thanks to last week's draw in Tarneit.

There have been some encouraging signs with Juan Mata having made his first start for the club while Brandon Borrello is back amongst the goals which will be a massive boost for the Red and Black.

United showed promising signs in their first match of the season and have set a solid foundation to which they can build upon. However, squad depth may be an issue and they will hope that Stefan Mauk will be fit for their trip to Western Sydney.

Australia Cup Replay in Melbourne

Sunday's sole Isuzu UTE A-League fixture is a repeat of the Australia Cup Final as Victory take on Macarthur at 4pm AEDT live and exclusive on Paramount+.

Strap yourselves in for this one as Victory go toe-to-toe against the Bulls for the first time since the Cup Final a month ago.

The Bulls' record against Victory at AAMI Park is quite impressive, they are undefeated in their last three meetings there, with the last encounters ending in 1-0 wins for the visitors.

Monday Night Football at AAMI Park

Round 3 action wraps up at AAMI Park on Monday night with Western United making the short trip to meet Melbourne City at 7pm AEDT.

City left themselves with an uphill battle last time out after going three behind against Victory in the first half of their derby clash.

A much better second half saw them claw one back however it proved to be too little, too late.

They will be without the services of their captain Aziz Behich with the Socceroos defender having been handed down a two-match suspension for his offence.

Meanwhile, Western come into this fixture on the back of consecutive 1-1 stalemates. A win against City will be enough to see them leapfrog their opponents on the ladder.
