A horrified Reddit user posted the photo to the popular forum, saying they wanted to “bleach” their eyes after seeing the man clipping his toenails.

The man is seen with his bare feet curled up on the chair as he trims his dogs in front of his fellow travellers.

People were quick to comment about how disgusting it was for the man to be doing that in a public place.

“Clueless … that’s gross,” one person wrote, while another said, “As a society, we need to bring back public shaming.”

“I was raised to classify clipping your nails as [a] personal hygiene activity much like shaving or brushing your teeth and should generally be done with the same decorum,” another said.

“I mean, to be fair, when he puts his feet up into the section in front of him, he wants them to look good,” another joked.

However, one flight attendant took to TikTok to reveal that this habit occurs “way more than you think.”

Kat Nesbitt said that “every single time, it’s disgusting” when she sees a passenger clipping their toenails onboard.
