Taylor Swift Gifted Staff $197 Million In Bonuses Over The Course Of The Eras Tour

As Taylor Swift wrapped up her $2 billion Eras Tour in Vancouver, it was revealed that the pop star gave performers and crew $197 million in bonuses over the course of the two-year-long global tour.

According to People magazine, Swift gave out $US197 million (over $AUD300 million) in bonuses to everyone working on the Eras Tour over two years, including crew, production staff, dancers, musicians, truck drivers, and caterers.

The news comes after The New York Times revealed that the Eras Tour raked in $2,077,618,725 in ticket sales, “double the gross ticket sales of any other concert tour in history.”

The Eras Tour, which kicked off in March 2023, sold out every single show, with the largest single night’s attendance in Melbourne earlier this year, with a crowd of 96,006 packing out the MCG.

According to Swift’s touring company, 10,168,008 people attended the concerts.

Swift closed the history-making tour on Sunday, Dec. 8, in Vancouver, playing her 149th show of the Eras Tour and thanking fans for their support.

“I want to thank every single one of you for being a part of the most thrilling chapter of my entire life to date — my beloved Eras Tour,” Swift said.
