One of the largest password leaks in history has just come to light, with over 16 billion passwords reportedly stolen in a massive cyberattack affecting major platforms including Apple, Facebook, Google, and Telegram.

Hackers followed a familiar pattern: infiltrate a site, steal login data, then grab passwords, leaving millions at risk.

Google has already issued an urgent warning to its 2 billion Gmail users: change your password immediately.
