Man Spends $40 On Drill And Receives Printed Image Of Tool Instead

An American man has expressed his outrage and warned other would-be buyers of his experience with AliExpress after he ordered a drill but received a picture of the $40 (AU$ 63) tool.

Sylvester Franklin went online to buy what he believed to be a very reasonably priced drill set, only to be sent a printed picture of the tool instead.

Franklin told WTOC in Savannah, Georgia, that he spent another $22.47 (AU$ 35.58) on what he thought was a pressure washer but was sent a screw.

Franklin has contacted AliExpress since ordering the items in November but has not received a refund.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. This one was apparently worth forty bucks.

While it did include other images, including the drill bits, the charging station, and the chords, you can see why the buyer is a little bit upset with AliExpress.

Unless, of course, he really didn’t want to do that DIY project around the house after all.
