Following their exit from the Champions League, the Reds are expected to travel to Melbourne for a post-season friendly.
Details have yet to be confirmed, though it is likely that the match will be held sometime on the weekend of May 30th/June 1st.
In an attempt to create buildup for the Aussie final, both the friendly and the A-League final could take place on the same weekend.
It is expected that the Melbourne Cricket Ground will be the location for the Liverpool friendly, allowing the whopping 100,024 capacity to draw in the likes of both Reds’ and A-Leagues fans.
The Reds have not visited Australia since their last post-season friendly in 2017, where they defeated Sydney FC 0-3.
Ticket details have not yet been announced as Liverpool is yet to announce the trip formally.
