Donald Trump Reinstalls Diet Coke Button In The Oval Office

US President Donald Trump is reinstalling his Diet Coke button in the White House Oval Office so that he can have beverages brought to him.

The famous little red button hidden inside a wooden box was removed from the Oval Office in 2021 when Joe Biden came into power.

When Trump presses the button, a White House butler is notified that the President would like his drink of choice brought to him.

Traditionally, the Oval Office will be redecorated on the incoming President’s Inauguration Day.

In his first term, Trump had portraits of Benjamin Franklin and George Washington hung up, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Portraits of Alexander Hamilton and Thomas Jefferson were also seen adorning the walls in Trump’s office.

Ahead of his inauguration, Trump was hand-delivered a personalised bottle of Diet Coke from Coca-Cola’s CEO James Quincy.

The bottle of Diet Coke featured Trump’s name, the inauguration date and a picture of the White House.

It has been reported that the president-elect loves Diet Coke so much that he consumed around 12 servings per day when he was in the White House.

During his first term, pressing the button would summon the ‘Diet Coke Valet’, Walt Natua, who would bring a Diet Coke on a silver platter.

Nauta, a Navy veteran, was Trump’s valet in the White House before becoming his personal aide at the Mar-a-Lago.

He found himself in hot water when he was accused of moving boxes from the White House under Trump’s instruction and then lying about it to investigators.
