Bank Australia Will No Longer Provide Loans For Petrol Or Hybrid Cars

As of February, Bank Australia will now only provide car loans for fully electric vehicles.

This change supports the bank’s goal to create a faster transition to entirely electric vehicles and become net zero by 2035.

Drive.com’s Trent Nikolic speaks to 2GB and says that “it doesn’t make any sense” and “I don’t like it.”

He comments on the podcast that the bank should not be “dictating” people’s decisions as Australians are smart enough to make their own decisions when buying a car.
