Abbie Chatfield Looking To Win Triple J’s Hottest 100

When Abbie Chatfield’s TikTok got made into a banger, never did she think it would end up in Triple J’s Hottest 100!

It’s that time of year Aussie music fans froth for! Voting via the Triple J site, fans pick their top tunes, in hopes they make the number one spot.

At the top of the list, you’re likely to see names like Justin Bieber. Side note, for those over the age of 35 who don’t like hearing that the Biebs gets air time on Triple J, unfortunately, Silverchair no longer make new music and what’s considered popular these days is confusing. On that, you best read on.

What is considered ‘popular’ these days can be anything. Including a TikTok take downs that have a go at Anti-Vaxxers, by former reality TV love hopeful Abbie Chatfield.

That’s right, DJ Candy Moore and Abbie Chatfield’s tune ‘I know you do ketamine’, is a chance in the Triple J Hottest 100!

Abbie joined us on The Project this evening, saying the thought of winning the Hottest 100 isn’t as exciting as winning I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, but said ‘It’s definitely up there’.

Chatfield, who says she has no musical talent and says if she won, she would thank ketamine plus Candy Moore, who has made this very strange scenario a possible reality.

In an even stranger reality, and one the before mentioned over 35’s could relate to, a band from their younger days is also in for a good run at the title. That’s right, it’s The Wiggles! Although the band does have a couple of new faces, their vibe is still the same. With their cover of Tame Impala’s ‘Elephant’ apparently gathering massive traction.
