In this stunning 6-part series, viewers go on expedition via small ships to see and experience some of the most pristine and remote, world heritage listed destinations on earth.
Our journey starts with an expedition cruise through The Kimberley where unique natural features such as Montgomery reef and indigenous rock art will leave you breathless. We then follow the coastline of Tasmania which is one of the world’s most famous hiking destinations and in episode 3 we journey from Broome to Fremantle via the Abrolhos islands which offers some of the best whale watching along the longest fringing coral reef on earth.
Episode 4 takes viewers through the Torres Strait Islands which is still home to many indigenous communities who have been thriving in the area for hundreds of years and is globally famous for the snorkelling and diving along the Great Barrier Reef. From there we follow the spice trail through the spice islands of Indonesia where we visit tribes who have never seen tourism or television cameras before, dive at Raja Ampat and enjoy the whale sharks in turquoise waters of Cenderawasih Bay
Expedition has been shot in HD and beautifully documented from the ground, in the air and under the sea and is narrated by local geologists, geographers and expedition leaders. It’s a truly unique and remarkable program.
