Norway’s Future Queen Set To Relocate To Australia To Study

The future Queen of Norway, Princess Ingrid Alexandra, is set to relocate to Australia to study at Sydney University, Norway’s Royal House has announced.

“Her Royal Highness Princess Ingrid Alexandra will begin her studies at the University of Sydney in August, enrolling in a Bachelor of Arts program,” The Royal House of Norway said in a press release.

Princess Ingrid will be studying a bachelor’s degree in social science, specialising in international relations and political economy.

The press release also stated that the Princess will study full-time and live on campus in the Camperdown/Darlington student residences.

“Her Royal Highness looks forward to dedicating herself to her studies in the years to come,” the statement concluded.

The 21-year-old royal is second in line to the throne after her father, Crown Prince Haakon.

Princess Ingrid is one of the grandchildren of King Harald V. Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit also share Prince Sverre Magnus, 19.
