Martin Brundle Baffled After F1 Unicorn Interview

A new F1 season means new awkward moments with icon Martin Brundle, and he may have had one of his strangest grid walk interviews...interviewing a unicorn.

The Sky Sports broadcaster was in Shanghai for the second Grand Prix of the Formula 1 season.

The former driver bumped into a Chinese influencer Xue Zhang, better known as Mr Unicorn.

Zhang was wearing a huge unicorn head with a red horn, leaving Brundle quite puzzled.

Brundle told viewers, "There's an unusual character - Xue Zhang."

The 65-year-old presenter asked Mr Unicorn to share a bit about himself.

"I'm Mr Unicorn from China! I'm looking for the fastest man alive over here,” Zhang said, quickly exclaiming that Lewis Hamilton is the fastest man alive.

Viewers enjoyed the awkward moment.

"Brundle interviewing a Unicorn was not on my Bingo Card today,” one person wrote.

"Sky Sports F1, this is such a wholesome moment! Martin meeting Xue Zhang with that unicorn emoji is pure joy - love seeing these interactions that bring the F1 community closer. Can’t wait to hear more from this encounter!" another said.

"F1 wouldn't be the same without Brundle's walkabout. Nobody does it BETTER,” a third wrote.
