The Netflix star was sentenced to 21 years behind bars for multiple offences including a murder-for-hire plot targeting animal activist Carole Baskin, falsifying wildlife records and violating the Endangered Species Act after killing five tigers.
Joe Exotic spoke to Fox News Digital last year expressing his concerns about the process of the pair’s paperwork being approved.
He stated that “heterosexuals get married in here all day long, but I’m hoping that they respect our constitutional right, and we will still uphold and abide by the rules and the law.”
Exotic went on to share “I wished I would have met Jorge months ago or a couple of years ago, but God had a plan, I guess.”
