Dare Iced Coffee Shortage Fears As Bega Factory Workers Head On Strike

Bega workers in Penrith have entered their fourth day of industrial action over pay, and there are now fears that a Dare iced coffee shortage is imminent.

Dozens of staff walked off the job at 9 PM on Monday after negations over a 7 per cent pay rise failed.

Workers are saying they will strike until a better pay deal is offered.

UWU national dairy co-ordinator Neil Smith told the Sydney Morning Herald that Dare Iced Coffee shortages would produce ‘a bunch of angry tradies.’’
