Tones and I Charged After Her American Bulldog Fatally Attacked Another Dog

Tones and I has been fined in court months after her American bulldog escaped from her property and fatally attacked her neighbour’s dog.

In November 2024, the 32-year-old singer’s American bulldog, Boss, broke free from her Mornington Peninsula home and attacked her neighbour’s 17-year-old cavoodle.

Neighbour Wayne Schultz was walking his two cavoodles when he noticed Watson’s other dog, Charlie, trapped behind the electric gates of her property.

According to the Herald Sun, Watson’s friend Tahlia arrived and opened the gate for Charlie, inadvertently allowing Boss to escape.

Boss attacked one of Schultz’s cavoodles, resulting in the dog’s death. Boss was later euthanized.

Watson did not attend court, as she is currently in the US recording an album, but was represented by barrister Cameron Scott.

She was ordered to pay a $3,000 fine plus council costs for failing to securely confine both dogs and for not re-registering Boss.
